dann schau dir doch mal die Hilfe an
Ja URBAN AREA oder der Schwarz-Weiß Satellit.
Einfach rumprobieren, du mußt halt immer warten bis sich die Bilder voll aufgebaut haben, was ne Weile brauchen kann

schade nur, dass nicht alles so gut drin ist wie die USA.
Aber auf jeden fall auch so sehr informativ.
Auch ganz interessant, dass die NASA aus der Software auf Wikipedia linkt.

When was this imagery photographed?
Depends on the layer. The NLT Landsat7 and OnEarth Landsat7 are from 1999 to 2003, with 2000 being the most active year. The USGS 1m Digital Ortho varies more. It was taken from 1990 to 2000. Search for a US location though TerraServer® (
http://terraserver.com/search/search.asp) and look for the USGS entry. The USGS Topo maps vary from within the past few years to more than a decade ago. Streets and building locations in particular may be quite out of date even if the terrain has changed little. USGS Urban Area Ortho dates from 2001 to 2004 and some areas are still being photographed, you can see the dataset ages at the USGS site (

aber irgendwie funzt das mit diesen satellitenfotos bei mir auch net...
wenn ich auf das USGS symbol gehe steht rechts oben in world wind: "connection problem". kann es sein das das proggie von meiner firewall geblockt wird? und wenn ja, kennt wer die ports von world wind damit ich diese in der fw freigebn kann?
und ja , ich hab .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 installiert.
als problemlösung sagen sie in den faq:
You may be behind a blocking proxy/firewall. You'll need to configure a port remapper, or hunt down an admin to help. See below.
und "below" is nix oO

Schaut euch auch mal
Earth Google an.
Ist (noch) nicht unbedingt besser als der WorldWind von der NASA, weil man von Deutschland auch nichts sehen kann.
Ist aber noch in der Beta-Phase, deshalb kann es sein, dass man bei späteren Versionen auch Deutschland beglotzen kann

Deaktivier mal die WindowsFirewall und benutz nur ZoneAlarm
